With both of these teams losing their opening match in the Euroleague, this game represents a chance for both teams to get off their mark. Of course, one of these two teams will have a 0-2 record by the end of this week and given the changed nature of the Euroleague season this year, this sets a big challenge to make progress at a later date.

The Turkish team also lost out in Spain last week, falling to Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz. Having two away games at the start of the campaign can be tough but Anadolu need to hang on in there until they get their own home games. This is a team that can be quite formidable in Turkey in front of their passionate fans but on the road, they sometimes struggle. Derrick Brown was a major player for the Istanbul side last week, picking up 16 points and he’ll need to deliver more of the same if Anadolu are going to be smiling on the trip home.
