Euroleague

Thursday night delivered some jaw-dropping moments in the EuroLeague. The bar has been raised for Friday night, but the quality of matches suggests it could deliver.

Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul 84-61 Zalgiris Kaunas

The Turkish side enjoyed a comfortable victory, and the result put some daylight between the two sides. Fenerbahce hold an 18-12 record while Zalgiris have a 15-15 scorecard.

Jan Vesely offered 21 points while Nando De Colo grabbed 15 points. Luka Lekavicius offered 12 points for the losing side.

Zenit St Petersburg 75-79 TD Systems Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz

This is the game people will talk about for some time. With 4:30 left on the lock, Zenit held a 59-45 lead, and were looking comfortable. Then the Spaniards went on a 0-19 scoring run, and won the game by four points!

Alec Peters delivered 17 points in the win; Mateusz Pontika provided 15 points in defeat.

ALBA Berlin 80-84 Olympiacos Piraeus

The Olympiacos Play-Offs dream is still alive, albeit it is a slim one, but the hosts slumped to a defeat that leaves them also-rans. Sasha Vezenkov provided 31 points in the win which moves the Greek side to a 14-16 record.

Real Madrid 89-96 CSKA Moscow

Real Madrid lost again, and have now lost five of their most seven recent games. CSKA were on a losing streak of two, but smashed that in the Spanish capital on Thursday night. Will Clyburn provided 23 points in the win while Trey Thompkins provided 20 points in the defeat.

Khimki Moscow Region vs. Valencia Basket

The Spaniards are just outside the Play-Off zone, with a 15-4 record. This is a must win game for Valencia, against toiling opponents. The Moscow side have only won three games, but that recent triumph over Real Madrid will give them slight cause for hope.

Panathinaikos OPAP Athens vs. Crvena Zvezda MTS Belgrade

The Belgrade side are out of the Play-Off running while the hosts chances are hanging by a thread. This is a must game win for the Greeks, no questions asked. Panathinaikos have a few games in hand, but points on the board are what they need.

FC Bayern Munich vs. Anadolu Efes Istanbul

The hosts have an 18-11 record while the Turkish side travel with a 19-10 scorecard. These two teams are evenly matched, and a win boosts their chances while demoralising their opponent. This could be a massive game in Germany.

AX Armani Exchange Milan vs. FC Barcelona

Barcelona have already qualified for the Play-Offs, but Milan knows if they win, and other results fall in their favour, they can join them there in this game. It’s a top of the table clash, with a lot at stake, and basketball betting fans should pay attention!
