It is bottom versus top in the Euroleague this week and the team with a 2-9 record plays host to the team with a 10-1 record. There really isn’t much at stake in this game with Zagreb rooted to the foot of the table and the side from Istanbul already recognised as being the team that wins the group. This makes it a difficult one to call but if the away team shows any sort of form, they should win.
It is really all about pride for Cedevita at the moment and perhaps giving their fans something to smile about. Will Fenerbahce be fired up for this game?
While the formbook is clearly on the side of Fenerbahce for this game, the loss of Jan Vesely is likely to be a blow for the team. However, there are plenty of other brilliant players in the Turkish side’s line-up and it was Luigi Datome and Ekpe Udoh who did most of the damage when these two sides last clashed in January.
