In the Greek Champions best performance so far in the season, Panathinaikos (2-4) defeated the European champions Efes in OAKA on Wednesday 95-69. Not only did they get their 2nd victory after three consecutive away defeats, but they also warmed up their fans with such an emphatic appearance!

Daryl Macon Jr. played the game of his life. The American guard scored 34 points with 9/12 three-pointers in just over 25 minutes of play! Papagiannis added a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Nedovic added 17 points without missing a shot.

However, Villeurbanne (4-2) also scored a great victory. They did severe damage to CSKA (70-68) at “Astrobal”, playing a formidable defence from the 1st to the 40th minute. Okombo (14 points), the 24-year-old French guard, is the revelation for Villeurbanne this season. Youssoupha Fall (12 points, 10 rebounds) and David Lighty (10 points, 6 rebounds) also contributed their best in this significant victory.

PF Jehyve Floyd (sprain) will miss the game for Panathinaikos, while Kostas Antetokounmpo is highly doubtful for the coach of the French, TJ Parker. American center Reymar Morgan has not played yet this year due to injury and is also counted out.
