The excitement is building for the climax of the Top 16 in the EuroCup.

The scores on Wednesday 3rd March in the EuroCup Top 16, Round 5 were:

  • Dolomiti Energia Trento 69 V Partizan Nis Belgrade 54
  • Jl Bourg En Bresse 89 V Buducnost Voli Podgorica 92
  • Unics Kazan 85 V Morabanc Andorra 63

With one round of the Top 16 left, there is still a lot to play for in the EuroCup. Group F is completely up for grabs, while there is still one space on offer in Groups E, G and H.

All of the Group E games took place on Tuesday night, and it is Monaco who are looking forward to the next stage of the tournament. The French side have a 4-1 record after five games. Joventut Badalona and Nanterre 92 are the teams who have it all to do next week.

Group F had two games on Wednesday night, and the outcomes will have a big part to play. Trento lead the group going into their final game. A home win over Partizan moved Trento to a 3-2 record, while the Belgrade side slump to bottom of the table with a 2-3 record.

Lokomotiv got a massive result, and while they remain third, they hold a 3-2 record alongside Boulogne. The final round of fixtures will be massive in Group F.

In Group G, Pogorica kept their dreams alive by clinching a win in Bresse by a score of 89-92. It went to the wire, but the away team now hold a 2-3 record, which sees them on the coat-tails of Ljubljana. Bologna hold a 5-0 record and have already qualified.

Unica Kazan moved onto a 5-0 record after their win over Andorra, and they have already booked their place in the next round. The Andorrans are third, but they hold a 2-3 record alongside Gran Canaria in second place. Therefore, there is all to play for in the final round of fixtures in Group H.
