Eurocup

The EuroCup Quarter-Finals stage is here, and this is a Best of Three series. This means we are guaranteed at least two games in each tie, and if it goes to a third game, these games will be played next week.

Therefore, there is a lot of EuroCup action to enjoy this week, and there might be some nail-biting moments next week. All eight teams at this stage have reached the EuroCup Quarter-Finals before, and for three teams, this is the second season in a row. UNICS, Virtus Segafredo Bologna and AS Monaco will feel at home at this stage.

The Quarter-Final action gets underway on Monday 22nd March, which means basketball betting fans can enjoy the start to a busy week in style!

UNICS Kazan vs. Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar

This is an all-Russian clash, and Kazan is the setting to get it underway. The hosts came out on top in Group H, while the away side had a slow start, but squeezed through in the end. There is history between these sides at the Quarter-Final stage, with Kazan coming out on top on both occasions.

Jamar Smith, Isaiah Canaan and Jordan Morgan should be the key players for UNICS while Will Cummings, Mindaugas Kuzminskas and Kevin Hervey are the players most likely to propel Lokomotiv forward.

AS Monaco vs. Buducnost VOLI Podgorica

Neither team has reached the Semi-Final stage of the EuroCup yet, so there is a massive prize at stake in this tie. Monaco was impressive in the group stage, clinching a 5-1 record. Mathias Lessort, Marcos Knight, Rob Gray and Dee Bost, all performed well there. Buducnost finished strongly, winning their last two games to progress. Willie Reed, Melvin Ejim, Justin Cobbs and Amedeo Della Valle all broke into double figures.

Boulogne Metropolitans 92 vs. Herbalife Gran Canaria

This is the first clash between these teams. The French side were Group F winners, and benefitted from impressive play from players such as Anthony Brown, Archie Goodwin and David Michineau.  The team from Gran Canaria lost their first three games in the Top 16, but rebounded well to reach this stage. A.J. Slaughter, Stan Okoye and John Shurna were all very impressive in the Top 16 round.

Virtus Segafredo Bologna vs. Joventut Badalona

With both of these teams having tasted success in the EuroLeague in the past, there is an impressive pedigree here. Bologna are undefeated so far and have looked in fine form all season. Players like Milos Teodosic, Vince Hunter and Marco Belinelli have impressed. Joventut have a good record on the road this season, going 6-2 at this stage. Ante Tomic, Nenad Dimitrijevic and Xabi Lopez-Arostegui have all impressed on the big stage.
