If this game is anything like the last time these sides met, back in round 1 of the Top 16, this game has the potential to be a cracker. This is a game between two sides in excellent form
The Russian side have been in excellent form over the course of this campaign and they currently hold a 16-1 record for the Euroleague season. This includes a perfect 10-0 record in the regular season and a 6-1 record in the Top 16. Domestically, CSKA are still top of the Russian league with a 19-3 record and they had a convincing win in their last game, defeating Krasnie Krilya 41-85. Fenerbahce also top their domestic league, sitting with a 15-4 record and they enjoyed a 77-86 win against Tofas in their most recent outing.
