22/04/2015 19:45 – Panathinaikos Athens vs CSKA Moscow

Euroleague Playoffs Betting Tips - Panathinaikos Athens vs CSKA MoscowThe third game between these two sides went right down to the buzzer, and it was enough to keep the home team in the tournament. The Greeks know that they will have to grab another win to remain in the tournament and even a win will send them off to Moscow for the fifth and final game of the tournament. There may be an argument saying that it is better for the Greeks to accept their fate and lose tonight, but you just know that is not the attitude that Panathinaikos and their fans will have as CSKA Moscow play once again in Athens.

Moscow know that they are heading back to Moscow after this game regardless of the outcome but they would much prefer to be heading home with a place in the Final Four secured. The Russian side haven’t lost many games in the Euroleague this season, but the first time they lost, they followed it up with another loss straight away. If this is repeated on Wednesday night, there will be a lot of pressure heaped on a team who have been tremendous for the vast majority if the campaign.

Nikos Pappas was a key man in the last game

Nikos Pappas was a star player in the 86-85 win in Game three and Dimitris Diamantidis was in fine form for the hosts in that game as well. Sonny Weems was in excellent form but sadly for the player, he will remember his involvement with the Panathinaikos winner, but this will be the ideal opportunity for Weems to bounce back and do his team a massive turn by being the player that seals a win, and a place in the Final Four.
