18/11/2016 18:00 BST – CSKA Moscow v Zalgiris Kaunas – Euroleague Betting Tips
The last unbeaten record of the Euroleague fell on Wednesday night with CSKA Moscow losing out in Istanbul. Darussafaka Dogus Istanbul were the first team that managed to get beyond the reigning Euroleague champions and they have laid down a marker for the rest of the league. Of course, the Russians will feel as though they have the perfect chance to bounce back at home when they welcome Zalgiris Kaunas to Moscow.
The 91-83 defeat will have stung CSKA Moscow but in reality, it isn’t going to have any major impact on the champions. If this rolls into the next game, there could be an issue but as it stands, the CSKA fans will find that they have a chance to head into the weekend still on top. Nando De Colo grabbed 17 points in the defeat as did Cory Higgins while there was a double-double for Milos Teodosic who managed to pick up 15 points and 10 assists in the game. There was also a strong showing from Kyle Hines who provided 11 points and 8 rebounds in the defeat in Turkey. There is no shortage of big name and big game players who can lead Moscow in this game and you wouldn’t be shocked if they bounce back at home on Friday.

Can Kaunas pull off a sock in the Euroleague?
Kaunas may be wary at facing the wounded champions but they’ll be able to take some confidence from a win in their own right on Wednesday night. The win at the Zalgirio Arena came against Galatasaray and it brought a four-game losing run to an end. This moved the away side to a 2-5 record and creates some daylight between the Kaunas side and their defeated Turkish opponents who have a 1-6 record. Brock Motum was a big player on Wednesday night, delivering 24 points while Leo Westermann had a strong all-round game with a total of 16 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. There was also a big night for Kevin Pangos who grabbed 9 points and 8 assists, with his assists tally being a career high for the player.
It is unlikely that CSKA Moscow will lose two games in the space of three days so the big question is the margin of victory. Look to take CSKA Moscow at -15.5 which is provided at odds of 1.90. For the Over/Under market, you should choose OVER 169.5 at odds of 1.90. Bet Now!
