Euroleague Top 16 Betting Tips - EA7 Emporio Armani Milan v Unicaja MalagaThis is a game between two big teams and it looks as though Olympiacos have the edge. They have defeated their Turkish rivals at home on the last three occasions the sides have met and they also won in Turkey earlier on in the campaign, grabbing a 68-74 victory. When it comes to Euroleague betting, these two teams know how to serve up an exciting match.

Vassilis Spanoulis is easily the key player for the home side and he has been able to provide an average of 16 points per game this season. Of course, Spanoulis is the sort of player that makes chances for others too, and he has bagged an average of 5.7 assists per game this season in Europe. This has made a massive difference to the Greek side’s campaign but they have also had some big performances from Bryant Dunston, who has offered up an average of 5.4 rebounds per game.

Fenerbahce have also got a key man for grabbing points and Andrew Goudelock actually has a better scoring record than Spanoulis. This is because Goudelock has notched up an average of 16.6 points per game this season, and he has been a big factor in the success of the Turkish side. Nemanja Bjelica has also been a key player, offering up an average of 7.8 rebounds per game this season. With respect to assists, Emir Prelzdic has been an influential player, offering an average of 3.2 assists per game.

Olympiacos have a very impressive European home record

Euroleague - OlympiacosThe home side have a 16-3 record in the Euroleague this season, which is comprised of an 8-2 record in the regular season and they currently hold an impressive 8-1 record in the Euroleague. Olympiacos are clearly a formidable team and while their stadium is called the Peace and Friendship Stadium, it certainly isn’t a peaceful or friendly place for visitors. This is because Olympiacos have won 13 home games in the Euroleague in a row. The last team the Reds tasted defeat at home in Europe was in last season’s Euroleague when Milan grabbed a big away win.

Fenerbahce have a 15-4 record this season, with their 8-2 record being the same that Olympiacos achieved in the regular season, and their 7-2 record still being strong, but not quite at the level of their Greek rivals. With respect to points scored however, Fenerbahce have an advantage, leading 82.2 to 76.5.

Olympiacos are at the top of their domestic league with an 18-1 record but Panathinaikos are close behind them with a 17-2 record. Olympiacos played on Monday night and they defeated AGOR Aegean at home by a score of 80-60.

Fenerbahce are gunning for domestic success

Fenerbahce are sitting in second place in the Turkish league with a 16-5 record. This is the same record as Anadolu Efes but it is Efes who have leapfrogged them into first place. Fenerbahce’s most recent domestic game came on Monday and they lost away to Galatasaray, losing out by a score of 92-88.

With their excellent home record, you wouldn’t bet against the Greeks so taking Olympiacos with a -4.5 handicap, and odds of 1.90, should be a great start to your weekend. If you are keen to take the Over/Under market on, you should go OVER 151.5, again at odds of 1.90. You will find these bets available with Bet365. Bet Now!
