NBA Conference Finals Betting Tips - Warriors @ RocketsThe dominance shown in the Eastern and Western Conference has led the NBA to have a think about the schedule for the NBA Finals. While talks are at a very early stage, and unlikely to come to anything due to the amount of changes involved, the organisation has at least considered bringing the Finals forward if both of the Conference Finals finish in a clean sweep.

With the Warriors holding a 3-0 lead over the Rockets and the Cavaliers winning in overtime on Sunday to move on to a 3-0 record against the Hawks, two clean sweeps is not out of the questioning. We will know a lot more after the Monday and Tuesday games. If the sweep is averted, there is nothing to worry about and no real point in bringing the games forward but if East and West are settled 4-0, there may be a big call for the NBA to make. Having over a week’s break may be of benefit to some players, but it could also increase the nerves and tension from the playing staff.

With the impact on hotels and TV companies, there is a lot to be said that the NBA Finals won’t be changed, but it is certainly something worth keeping an eye out for if there are sweeps in the two Conference Finals.

The Cavs are gunning for a clean sweep in the East

The 114-111 win for the Cavaliers may have come in overtime, but they all count and the Cavs may be feeling that they have broken the resistance of the Hawks with that win. They certainly broke the resolve of Al Horford who was ejected from the game on Sunday after he struck Matthew Dellavedova in the first half of the game. At this point, Horford had notched 14 points and he will be feeling gutted for himself and for letting down his team-mates. It took the officials a good few minutes to review the incident but they decided the player had to go for his actions.

As for the Western Conference, the Warriors are now one win away from making it to their first NBA Finals since 1975. They will be keen to get past Houston as quickly as they can and a clean sweep on Monday has to be the aim. History is on the side of the Rockets, no team in the NBA has failed to win from such a lead, and the manner of the 80-115 victory in Game 3 suggests that the Warriors have the upper hand.

Stephen Curry remains the player that opposing teams need to stop

Golden State Warriors LogoStephen Curry again showed his MVP credentials, grabbing 40 points and he has spoken to the media about the desire that the Warriors are showing and how they do not intend to take the foot off of the pedal now. This may be ominous for the Rockets, and of course, whoever makes it through from the East.

The Rockets performed well in the two away games but they capitulated at home, and they know that they need to perform much stronger in Game 4. Dwight Howard has been at the heart of the good work that the Rockets have delivered and he is fired up to prevent a clean sweep happening on his watch.

The Warriors are currently 78-17 for the season and this includes a 33-14 record on the road and an 8-2 record in their last 10 games. The Rockets are currently 64-33 for the season which includes a 36-13 record at home and a 4-6 record in their last 10 games, which is certainly disappointing for the Houston side.

With respect to average points for, the Warriors lead 109.1 to 104.6 and when it comes to average points against, the Golden State Warriors have the advantage of 99.1 to 102.1.

You will find the Golden State Warriors available at -4.5 at odds of 1.90, and this is a great bet for Monday. If you have more interest in the Over/Under market, you should take an interest in going UNDER 213.5, which again can be found at around odds of 1.90Bet Now!
