A Quiet Tuesday In NBA Betting

NBA Betting Tips 20 January 2015With just two games on the card for Tuesday, NBA fans will be taking things slightly quieter today, Tuesday the 20th of January. However, given how many games were available on Monday night, this quiet time will be needed for fans to get their breath back.

The Hornets dealt with the Timberwolves with the minimum of fuss and effort, winning by a score of 105-80. The Pistons gave it a good go but they were unable to dent the Hawks, the Atlanta side winning 93-82. The Warriors were on easy street against the Nuggets, winning by a score of 122-79 and the Knicks grabbed a much needed win, defeating the Pelicans by a score of 99-92. The Cavaliers grabbed another win, defeating the Bulls by a score of 108-94 and the Suns defeated the Lakers, the Phoenix side winning by 115-100.

The 76ersn lost again, the Wizards dismantling them 111-76 while the Clippers beat the Celtics in Los Angeles, winning by a score of 102-93. The Mavericks enjoyed a win on the road, defeating the Grizzlies by 95-103 and the Rockets had a comfortable home win against the Pacers, winning by 110-98. The Raptors had a narrow away win against the Bucks, winning by a score of 89-92 and the Trail Blazers had enough about them to see off the Kings, winning by a score of 98-94 in Portland.

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Miami Heat

With a 20-20 record so far this season, it has been an even campaign for the Thunder but they do carry an 8-13 record when they are away from home. They face a Miami Heat side that is facing a challenging season and the Heat hold an 18-22 record. This includes a 7-12 record in Miami, which means both teams will be keen to grab a result in this game if they can.

Miami Heat LogoThe Thunder have won their last 2 games, while holding a 3-2 record in their last five games, while the Heat come into this match on the back of a single win, and they also hold a 3-2 record in their last five outings.

The Thunder had lost four games in a row on the road but they changed this on Sunday night, grabbing a 99-127 win in Orlando, a result which is sure to boost their confidence coming into this game. The Heat concluded five games on the road with an 83-95 win in Sacramento on Friday night with Chris Bosh grabbing 30 points and Luol Deng offering up 25 points.

There are no injury concerns for the Thunder but the Heat have a couple of players they are looking to keep an eye on. This includes Chris Andersen who is being monitored on a day by day basis while Dwyane Wade has a slightly more serious injury who is touch and go for the game. He has had a few days rest which may see him return for this game but the Heat will not want to risk him being absent for a longer period.

This is genuinely a close game that could go either way but if Wade is fit to play, taking the Heat with a narrow negative handicap should be what you are looking for with your bet. Bet Now!

San Antonio Spurs @ Denver Nuggets

The Sours hold a 26-16 record coming into this game, which includes an 11-10 record away from San Antonio. They travel to Denver to take on the Nuggets who hold an 18-23 record, which includes a 12-9 record in Denver. The reigning champions should have enough about them to see this one home but you never know how any individual game will pan out in the NBA.

San Antonio Spurs LogoThe Spurs have won three games in a row, and hold a 4-1 record in their last five games, while the Nuggets have been defeated in their last three games. The Nuggets hold a 2-3 record in their past five outings, something which they will be looking to rectify on Tuesday night.

The Nuggets suffered their worst loss of the season on Monday night, losing 122-79 at Golden State. The Nuggets were down by 27 points at half-time and probably wished they could have called it a night there and then. Kawhi Leonard has been back for the Spurs last two games and he has had an impact. He grabbed 20 points for the Friday win over the Trail Blazers and then in Sunday night, he grabbed 12 points and 9 rebounds in the 89-69 win against the Jazz.

The Spurs have no notable injury concerns going into this game but the Nuggets are worried over the availability of Randy Foye and JaVale McGee.

As we are now into the second half of the season, this is the time of year when the Spurs start to step into gear and taking the Spurs at odds of 1.90 with a handicap of -7.5 is not a bad bet for a Tuesday night. Bet Now!
