Greece v Belgium
At one point on the final day, Belgium topped Group D but by the time all of the games had been played, they dropped down to fourth spot. Spain v Poland
The second placed team in Group B takes on the third placed team in Group A and on paper; you would say that there was only going to be one winner from this game. Turkey endured an overtime scrap with Iceland on Thursday which means that they may not be at their best for this game. With respect to the quarter finals, the winning teams on Saturday will play their next game on Tuesday the 15th of September.
The first quarter-final will be between the winners of the Latvia v Slovenia match and the winners of the France v Turkey match. The second quarter-final will be between the winners of the Spain v Poland match and the Greece v Belgium match.
It may not have been a final that many people predicted in the build-up to the 2017 FIBA EuroBasket tournament but even with that in mind, there was a shock win.
